what i intend to do as your President

6 chance to explain1.jpg

These are my four intentions as President for the United States of America and I will do everything within my power to make them a reality - without adding one ounce of burden to you.

  1. Make peace a reality in America.

  2. Make health a reality in America.

  3. Make jobs a reality in America.

  4. Make peace a reality in the world.

What is the reality of peace, whether it be in America or throughout the rest of the world?

Good and fair trading.  An overwhelming feeling of freedom and security.  People talking about happy stuff like sports and gardens and families, again.  Money in bank accounts.  No more poking the bear.  Resources are available to The People.  WALKS.  Stuff like that, is what peace looks like.

On the other paw, it is important to ask, “Why is America at war with so many people?”  I think that’s a good place to start.  Why do you hate, so badly, so many other humans that you would rather kill them, than talk to them?  Have they eaten your young?  That happens a lot in the nature that I come from.

How can everyone be a threat to America?  I mean, even in dogworld we have friends.  Don’t you?  Are words on a piece of paper reason enough for one human to destroy another?  That makes no sense to me.  And I drool.

Can’t we find a way to protect The American People, other than killing everyone else to do it?  Can’t we put up a fence to keep others out and your families’ safe within?  I mean, most of you lock your doors at night, right?  That is, if you don’t already have a locking fence.  And when that is not enough, you do what everybody does - you bring a dog into your life.  We bark… and sometimes bite.  But for sure, you feel safer with us.  Because we are brave and we are loyal and we love our families more than anything in the whole world.  And besides, I’ve heard my dad say many times, “Fences make for good neighbors.”

We will protect you.

My dad was watching a movie called The Punisher, and the punisher guy said a phrase I had not ever heard before:

Si vis pacem, para bellum.”  If you want peace, then prepare for war.

That made a lot of sense to me, when it comes to humans. I have no doubt in this canine mind that the most peaceful humans had to physically and mentally prepare for the war that was going to be brought upon them. In fact, an old-time religious prophet once said a long time ago something like, 'Your tongues say you are close to me, but your hearts are far away.' Deception seems to be a way of life with many humans.  So, I want you to know that I want peace more than anything, but I will not sacrifice my country to do it.  America can lead again.  (But not the way of Rome.)  We’re pretty tough.

By the way, as a dog, I may be many things, but I am not naïve.  I know when it’s not rain falling on my paws.

What does the reality of health look like?

What is so important about the palm of your paw?  All day long, I see so many humans walking around like those zombie humans, staring at their paws.  Is the paw talking to you and you’re being forced to listen?  Have you been enslaved by that voice?  I have seen humans walk right into things that have hurt them, just because they weren’t paying attention to where they were going.  We boxers ALWAYS pay attention to where we are walking or running.

But… maybe not jumping.

I think if humans were to spend less time talking to their paws and more time walking with their pets, you would be healthier – and happier.  And spend more time out in the sun.  And get more fresh air.  And breathe better, with more intention.  And have kinder thoughts and words and do kinder things.  And love your neighbors as yourselves.  AND GO FOR MORE WALKS.  Did I already say that?

I think the food you eat is questionable for your health.  I think the drinks you drink are also questionable.  You no longer eat from the ground or drink from the sky.

I am not a doctor of dog-ology - nor of human biology - but those things look pretty obvious to me, that if you got out more, exercised more, breathed better, refreshed your thinking, ate and drank better, America’s health would change – for the better.  And pretty doggone fast.

And what about the reality of jobs?

In America, any American can start a business serving another American.  Sometimes it takes higher education, sometimes it takes simple inspiration.  If you, the American citizen, know how to do something well, can do it right the first time, on schedule - with integrity - while making the client happy, you can start a business.

And as you continue to do outstanding work, more and more people will hear of it and want you to do your work for them.  Then you will have to hire on helpers, because your integrity and ethics are so high (higher than those around you) that you will not be left alone.  You will have a curse placed upon you where since you do not lie, cheat or steal, nor tolerate anyone who does; and since you consistently show up on time and do the job right; and since you continue to treat your clients fairly – you will NEVER BE LEFT ALONE.  You will ALWAYS have work.  You will make lots of money and start a family and buy a home and have pets!  You will support America and do good and be held in high regard among your citizens.

You are an American business creator.  Nothing can stop you.  Who would?  Who can?

Do any of those realities seem possible to you?  Because they sure do to me.  I do not understand why these things are so hard for humans to understand.  PeaceFreedom. Health.  These should be the hallmarks of all human lives.  How is it that a dog is the only one to see this?  None of these things I have mentioned take money.  They only take commitment.  Is that so hard?  What else do you have to do?  Stare at your paw?

And doggone most importantly, if America is truly the richest country on the planet, it doesn’t reflect on that very well, when dogs are living better lives than many of the humans who are citizens of this country.

I will fix that.  Let’s make common sense common again.

Time to go for a walk.  Wait… one more thing.

I just learned that there was another human who walked the Earth a long time ago according to your History Channel.  A great human of peace.  I like Him.  He seemed to know a thing or two about how human-life worked.  In many cases His responses were pretty much the same about lots of different things.  Like whenever people would confront Him about their woeful problems by telling Him how they lost their family or their job and don’t have any more money or friends or happiness or health or peace (you humans have lots of issues).  Then they would beg Him to save them from their miseries.  In every case, He would tell them the same thing, “Those who claim to have shall have more.  Those who claim to have not, even that which you perceive to have shall be taken from you.”  There is so much power in your human words that you have yet to fully understand.  If I could speak, other than bark, you would hear me claiming to have, appreciating those things, all day long.  And first in line, is my dad.

(P.s. I think Pawn Shops are the big winners of this law.)

America, what are you appreciating?  All the power you need is in your words and in your paws (for working, not watching).

Okay, let’s go.

By the way, if you can see another American as a member of your family

WELCOME TO the boxer party!

Of Americans, by Americans, for Americans.  Let's do this.
