We as a people, must stop looking to our servants for our answers. We have the answers. All we need do is look within. And if that’s too difficult, then look to your past.
How much of what you’re doing today would be tolerated by your grandfather or grandmother? And if they caught you doing what you’re doing, what would they do to you? Be honest, now. They would whoop your butt. But they’re gone now, so you have no discipline teacher to point to. You’re off the leash now.
Look around you, witness that what is happening is a direct result of no discipline teacher in your life. There is no one there to hold your paws to the fire and remind you of your responsibilities, to yourself and to others. So what’s the big deal, right? You’re free now, to do whatever you please at any time you wish to anybody you choose. Welcome to the wonderful world of CHAOS. And make no mistake, everything you do here, will be done unto you. No one gets away with anything.
It is time to be responsible for your choices. It is time to look within and figure out why you’re making these choices to begin with. (Ooh look, another car!) Have you allowed the outside world to gain control over your insides, too? Do you really think that it’s okay to act childish your whole life and keep making this place all about you?
It is time to grow up.
If you continue to blame everybody and everything else for your miseries, you will never succeed at overcoming them. You will live with your miseries, proving to yourself that they are real and justified, until you die with them – alone.
It’s not that misery does not like company, it does. It’s that company DOES NOT LIKE misery. And you will be left alone to live with it. And die with it, wasting your entire life angry over something that you absolutely have no control over. Instead of living your life to make a difference.
YOU CAN BE AGREEABLE AND HAVE FRIENDS, OR YOU CAN BE RIGHT AND BE ALL ALONE.
Your choice.
Know this with all your heart, humans are meant to work. You are meant to get up off your butts and do something. Whether it be generated because of your needs or wants. The more you use it, the better off you are.
Take your pet for a walk today and think of your grandparents. They had a home; they had a life; they had the people who had you. And they did it all without yelling and screaming and kicking and punching and breaking and burning it all down to the ground.
That’s why they’re called grown-ups.
