a natural observation
On any national weather map, at various points, you'll see L's and H's and a bunch of curved lines with symbols all over them. (The lines aren't as important as the L's and H's.) Those letters stand for Low's and High's, respectively. They refer to the barometric pressure of those areas. High pressure, Low pressure. Well, Nature in Her infinite wisdom always likes things balanced, so She sends some of the High pressure to the Low pressure area to help create this balance.
And how does this happen? Wind. Too much pressure goes to where there's not enough. And where there are extreme Lows, there are extreme winds.
Let’s review. Wind doesn’t move to the High pressure, it moves from it; only those places that have “created” Low pressure, receive the winds of balance; and the greater the Low, the faster the wind.
In other words…

Natural truths (like this one) exist for our benefit. And they are all around us, hidden in plain view.
So simple, yet so powerful.
